I love this little bird collage. I used a few types of bird images and paper types including moab matte paper and lazertran. Also did a lot fo layering with scrapbook paper and rubons.

HAND MADE HO DOWN HERE I COME

I am participating as a vendor at this great craft event called the Handmade Ho Down on Thurs Dec 3rd in SF. All the proceeds from the raffle donations and gift wrapping will go to DrawBridge an art program for homeless youth in the Bay Area.

This event had over 65 craft vendors and the first 150 attendees get free swag bags full of goodies from the vendors.

New Art for Children - Alphabet Paper Lanterns (Reds)

I am giddy over this piece. Like out of my mind happy. One day when I was waiting at a car service shop to have my brakes fixed, I drew these paper lanterns. Last night I scanned them into illustrator and colored this fun paper lanterns. Ever since I put paper lanterns above my babies crib, I have been obsessed with paper lanterns. This piece will be available at my open studio May 16 and 17, and also available online soon on etsy.

New Graphic Design of Marketing Materials for Royal Courtyard

This was a series of materials for event location on the east coast called Royal Courtyard. We created a business card, letterhead, folder, and brochure design. What I really loved was the ability to express my girlie side with all the cool flourishes.

New graphic design sell sheet for America Learns

This was the outcome of a new sell sheet design for America Learns in Southern California. The sell sheet was a big success at the event it was for. I hope to work with them again. They have a really great software application for non profits.

This is the poster for the open studio.

I am so excited to be participating in my first open studio as part of the artists open studio tour in East Contra Costs County. I will be showcasing my art for children and also having some free art projects for kids in the front of my house from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm May 16 and May 17, 2009.

I can’t wait, it is a lot of work, but is sure fun work!
